Forte Care Governance
ForteCare consider excellence as standard practice within our residential care for children and young people with complex needs. Forte Care regularly and consistently measure our performance, review our practices and assess current legislation and best practice to improve the services we provide.
​
The services and care provided by Forte Care are regularly and routinely reviewed and overseen by an independent expert, who oversee’s, monitors, reviews and reports on the care provided by Forte Care.
​
Our quality assurance systems also provide assurance to the Board of Directors and statutory agencies that efficient and effective systems are in place and the associated processes are working well.

The purpose of quality assurance within Forte Care include:

Forte Care’s quality assurance policies and governance.

Quarterly quality assurance reports provided to Directors.
​

Regular review and monitoring of Health and Safety
​

Review and monitoring of training to reflect practice development and reflect the training needs of the staff group
​

Operational quality and safety performance and identify any issues and risks requiring discussion by the Board of Directors

Setting of quality improvement targets and the action plans put in place to achieve them, by reviewing the progress made against these targets and plans.

Reviews of quality and outcomes within Forte Care to support or improve action plans.

Quality assurance within Forte Care also monitors performance and change by:

Highlighting risks and opportunities to improve practice across services.

Providing oversight and scrutiny of quality assurance activities, processes and outcomes across all divisions of the services provided by Forte Care.

Supporting the Board of Directors in shaping or trouble-shooting particular quality or outcome areas.
​​

Drawing on the experience of individuals from outside Forte Care with relevant expertise if necessary

Review very specific issues as requested by the Board of Directors
